Bishop TD Jakes
“Finding yourself in the wilderness does not change who you are. That is, your identity remains, except you concede to be whoever the world take you for”.
As children of God, we need to realise the fact that we have an identity that incorporates the creativity of God. He created the heavens and the earth in six days and we are also made in His own image. Until I drew closer to Jesus, I never had a clear understanding of my position in the heart of God. I have been redeemed with the right to call Him Abba Father. This, therefore, confirmed that I have the DNA of God. The moment you confess Jesus your Saviour and Lord, you automatically enter into the divine lineage of the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Your present circumstance does not matter. What matters now is the nature of Christ, which has been embedded into your being, and a series of transformations will begin to come to reality in your life.
A CUB is still a LION
- The fact that a cub is a baby does not make him less of a lion
- The DNA of a full grown adult lion flows in his vein
- He cannot be hungry because the parent makes the provision of meat
- He still has what he wants
- He is protected in the pride (where the lions live)
- No threats comes near the CUB
How to Discover the Seed of Greatness in You
1.Seek Wise Counsel (Joshua 17:14-15) There are people who are in the position of authority and who have been through the process you want to embark upon. It will only be wise to seek their counsel, as the children of Joseph sought Joshua’s counsel regarding the acquisition of more territory which they needed to enable them fit in well in the land which the Lord has given to them.

2 Cor 13:1 “This will be the third time I am coming to you. “By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established.”
Proverbs
11:14 “Where there
is no counsel, the people fall;
But in the multitude of counselors there
is safety.”
Proverbs 24:6 “For by wise counsel you will wage your own war,
And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.”
The fact that a cub, the baby lion, cannot hunt by himself does not make him any less of a lion.
2. Stop Complaining (Joshua 17:16). The Children of Ephraim and Manasseh just complained about what they desire but did not take a step about it. Your complaints will not solve any problems and will not even deliver any solutions to the issue at hand, but your actions will actually do something positive about the matter.

Phil 2:14-16 “14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.
Numbers 11:1 “Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp”

3. Discover the Seed of Greatness in You (Joshua 17:17-18). It is extremely crucial to discover who you are in Christ. You need to know who you are in Jesus, and it does not matter what the world feels about your situation or circumstances. The fact that you are in a situation you do not plan for at the moment is not an indication that God has forgotten you, or you are being punished for a particular sin. You might be helpless today, but that does not change the design of God for your future.
“The fact that a cub, the baby lion, cannot hunt by himself does not make him any less of a lion”. TD Jakes recently said “Finding yourself in the wilderness does not change who you are, that is, your identity remains, except you concede to be whoever the world take you for”.

(2 Cor 13:5-6)“5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you [b]are disqualified. 6 But I trust that you will know that we are not disqualified.”
Galatians 1:15-16 “15 But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb and called me through His grace, 16 to reveal His Son in me, that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately confer with flesh and blood,”
Galatians 2:20 “20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
God wants you to come to Him today for the required revival if you have left the place of salvation or have not been there before. He is ever willing to accept you into the fold, which gives you the full right to call Him Abba Father.
