“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts”.
Isaiah 55:8-9
When you don’t understand just what is going on
And problems are so hard to bear
Remember His ways are not your ways
It’s not that He doesn’t care
Because problems come and upset you
And you often ask the question, “why?”
He answers just love Me and trust Me
I am God I cannot lie
What He has promised is yours for the asking
And good things will come in their season
For the troubles you go through are helping you grow
And behind suffering there’s always a reason
For He knows the end from the beginning
He knows what your future will hold
So don’t question His wisdom or direction
He needs to refine you as gold
So when you are in the midst of trials
Don’t complain about the problems you bear
Because His ways are higher than your ways
Just draw strength from Him in prayer
For when the trials are over
You’ll look back and understand
Just how the Lord sustained you
You’ll see the touch of His hand
So trust Him this day with your situation
He will bring you through
And you will see His glory
And the blessings He has for you
