The Tiny Raindrops
See how My kingdom grows, and how I choose to involve My children in the work that I am doing. Each skilful note of music, each thoughtful word of prayer or preaching,each declaration of faith has its beauty. My word goes forth creatively, and all is to fulfil My divine purposes. Value small situations, small opportunities, seemingly unimportant moments. Do not run after the prominent situations or the praise of people.
The horizontal iron wheel that operates the sluice gate is better described as functional rather than beautiful. But the other morning the sun was at an angle that illuminated raindrops clinging to the underside of the wheel. One drop in particular looked ablaze with light. The contrast between its beauty and the sturdy but hard outline of the wheel caught my eye. Faced with harsh realities, small events like those tiny raindrops can still bring reminders of the glory of God.
The Smallest of All Seeds
“One bud shall be under the first pair of branches extending from the lampstand … All the posts around the courtyard are to have silver bands and hooks, and bronze bases.”(Exodus 25:35 Exodus 27:17).
“What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest of all seeds on earth.” (Mark 4:30)

Peg and pole are of value to Me, and I beautify all that is used in honour of My Name. Do not despair of your craftsmanship, nor moan that your labour is in vain. Your bodies are My temple, your worship My reward, nothing is more precious to Me than to receive the love of My children, the worship of My saints. Seek to make your lives beautiful for Me according to the pattern I have shown you. Know that I have you in My mind.
Nothing is too small or too insignificant to Me. So don’t ever despise the day of small things or the tiniest detail of My kindness towards you.
I take the smallest word that is spoken to glorify Me and I cause it to shine with a diamond like lustre and to be borne on the wind of My Spirit to this place and to that person, in order to bring great blessing. Don’t be impatient with detail, instead look to Me and I will show you what I can do with even the tiniest thing that I have created. For I have ordained peace and beauty to be the order of My Kingdom.
