We decided to buy a copy of the Message paraphrase of the Bible. It was my (Norman’s) responsibility, and since I already have the Message on my phone, I wanted to get something not too large and with a nice cover. I managed to achieve that much, but quite forgot that small size = small print! Fortunately we have a magnifying glass!
We were meditating on Mark 8:17; “Do you still not see nor understand 18 Do you have eyes but fail to see…25 Once more Jesus put his hands on the man’s eye…”
And we Felt the Lord was Saying
How precious is the gift of sight? Yet it is even more important to see with your spiritual eyes and to understand the reality of spiritual things. For to the extent that you fail to see and understand, you still walk in darkness. No fallen human heart can see unless My grace touches them, and I would gladly give sight, but some do not ask. To my people it is given to see and understand, and this is my desire.
Yet it is good to do eye exercises. To look carefully and to ponder what you see and to train your spiritual eyesight. Just as in earthly things an artist, or a naturalist will look and see far more than others. So you are to be spiritually observant and look with intention and purpose to learn of Me. Look until you are overwhelmed with the beauty of My grace. Gaze until common things begin to speak to you, yielding up their spiritual secrets.

Do you not see that I am bringing judgements on the earth? I want My people to see clearly and to understand what is happening. So come to Me, wash and be clean and enter into the Holy Place of the Most High so that I might touch you and so that you may be able to see clearly. For I want you to be able to see and then to say, so that an awareness comes upon those who will listen and so that they are warned. For those who stay close to Me will see and understand and will be able to say at the right time.
