Today’s Scriptural Arsenal (SA) is best enjoyed whilst listening to the song “The Words I Would Say” by Sidewalk Prophets.

In 1 Timothy 6:1-2 (NLT), we find a profound message from God for believers. It reminds us to consider our actions thoughtfully before embarking on any journey. Our Heavenly Father, who possesses all-encompassing knowledge, urges us to think before we act.

The passage states, “If your master is a Christian, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. You should work all the harder because you are helping another believer by your efforts. Teach these truths, Timothy, and encourage everyone to obey them.”

Let’s focus on the phrase, “You are helping another believer by your efforts.” These words underscore the idea that our actions can be a source of support for fellow believers.

Before making any decision or taking a step, we should pause and reflect on how our actions will impact others. This simple yet powerful principle can help us make wiser choices in our daily lives.

Imagine a scenario where your supervisor or colleague is a fellow believer. The verse tells us that being in the company of other Christians should not be an excuse to be disrespectful or slack off in our responsibilities. Instead, it should motivate us to work even harder. Why? Because our diligent efforts not only benefit us but also contribute to the growth of another believer’s faith.

This concept extends far beyond the workplace. In our families, communities, and interactions with friends, the way we conduct ourselves can either uplift or hinder someone else. When we strive to live out our faith through our actions, we become living testimonies of God’s grace and love.

Consider the ripple effect of a simple act of kindness. Your thoughtful words, a helping hand, or a caring gesture, can inspire and encourage someone else in their faith journey. It’s a reminder that our faith isn’t just a personal matter; it’s a communal experience where we play a part in strengthening the faith of those around us.

So, before you take any action, ask yourself, “How will this benefit others?” It’s a practical question that prompts us to view our choices in light of their impact on the people we encounter. When you consider the well-being of others, you’ll find yourself making decisions that align with God’s intentions for us as believers.

In conclusion, 1 Timothy 6:1-2 teaches us that our actions have the power to influence and uplift our fellow believers. As we navigate through life, let’s be mindful of the impact we have on those around us. By thoughtfully considering how our actions benefit others, we can live out our faith in a way that strengthens the faith of others and glorifies God.

Today’s Scriptural Arsenal (SA) for Daily Living will end here, but note that Scriptural Arsenal (SA) will only do something once you put it to use. Remember that ONLY the Doers are glorified, but how can you be if you have not studied?
